To anyone with the Roadie by Ruff Rider....

I bought one for Lincoln today and I was going to buy him the large but they only had the extra large at the store so I bought that instead. I put it on him when I got home and it fits but I have the straps pulled as tight as they go and it's still a little lose on him. It's not going to come off of him but how tight do you have yours? Lincoln wouldn't like it if it's too tight, he would probably be happy with it just how it is now but I still want it to protect him. If it's a little lose, will it not work as well? Thanks for any help!

Thanks!!!

It's a seatbelt...

suppose to be the best seatbelt for a dog that you can buy. One that actually fits bullys and that they can't get out of. You can go to www.ruffrider.com for more info. I'm going to try mine out right now!

UMMM....

can someone tell me what a roadie ruff rider is?

Test

Found this on teh Ruff Rider website.

Here are two tests to try to see if your Roadie is too big or too small.

Too small: If the harness is too small, the dog's fur and skin will over lap the webbing.

Too big: After putting the harness on your dog, buckle both buckles, tighten the chest and belly strap, and pull the red lead through the yellow loop. Then, without injuring your dog, try taking the harness off by pulling it over the dog's head. If you can pull the harness off, it is probably too big.

Hi Jessica. Sheldon has had two Roadies. When we bought them, they didn't come in small, medium, large, etc. but in numbered sizes. After Shelley grew out of his first one, I purposely bought him one that was too big (Size 7) thinking he would grow into it. It fits perfectly now, but worked just fine when it was big on him. Here is a picture of him in his Size 7 when it was too big. As long as Lincoln's isn't so big that he can slip it off, I think it will be okay.

It is snug as a bug now, looks like I'm going to have to invest in another one, urgh!
