Well we MIGHT be relocating to Myrtle Beach, SC so I am trying to do some research on vets in that area if there are any Bulldog vets or any other good vets that would be recommended. Thanks

best of luck to you! I'm glad someone who lives there answered you. I had a very fast move also when I moved to NC. Hubby got the job, we went on one house hunting trip, and moved all in one month's time! 11 years later we are still in the same house. It can be done!

that was very helpful info! I will definitely look into all of those and consider all of that info! this is going to be a VERY fast move which is pretty scary! pretty much if he finds out this week he has that location he will be there by the beginning of next week to work and I will be stuck behind until i get everything packed, etc. etc..so i have to take care of everything and try to find a house to buy! YIKES!!!!!

which means that for the most part of the year you will have slim chances of finding a place to park to get to the beach, then once you are there will have to find hotels that don't lock their doors to use a bathroom. Or you'l have to drive much further north or south to get away from busy Myrtle BEach. The Carolina Forest Website shows Broadway at the beach as a nearby attraction, that is BUSY BUSY BUSY during ALL summer long. It is a nice place though, like an outdoor shopping mall. N. Myrtle is much quieter, less touristy, better beach access if you don't live right on the water or are not staying at a hotel on the water. VERY beautiful too. Georgetown from what I can see so far would be the place I'd look into if it were me. I intensely dislike people and traffic and the disappointment of packing up the car with all the crap necessary for a day at the beach to get there and realize there is no place to park. Yes that has happened to us before at Myrtle Beach! Also another thing to consider is do you want to be able to take your dog to the beach? The city of MB, and N MB, restricts when dogs are allowed, and during the summer months they can only be on the beach before 9am and after 5pm. They must always be on a leash that's 7" or shorter. I would look into the Georgetown are more, it's an inlet, so it's off the main 'strip' of beaches and I would think you'd be much more likely to find small, private places to take your new baby and dog!

He is a District Mgr so his stores will be spread out in MB, NMB and Georgetown area. I have been looking at the Carolina Forest area. It seems to have a lot of communities with the ammenties we are wanting and seems to be in a good distance of the stores. I believe most of that area says its between 5-10 mi from the beach. I would like to stay about a 1/2 hr drive no further hopefully. Thanks for the help

and what are some of the places you have been looking at? I have some friends who go to the MB area several times a year and are very familiar with it. I can ask them what they think. How close to the beach are you wanting to be? There is a HUGE price increase the closer to the water you get.

thats for sure! And i'm the type of person that dont deal well in big crowds just beacuse of how rude people are! so that could be a problem for me but if we live outside the city it wont be so bad I dont believe! I hear mix reviews on some of the forums I have been reading but thats with any place you move!

which is a deal breaker for me. I'm sure if you stick to the outlying communties and stay away from the actual city of mb you won't have to deal as much with the tourists and outrageous traffic and extrememly high prices for food.

for dance competitions, I don't like it all for a vacation spot, but living there might be different. I don't know about vets in the area, but I would stay away from the city of MB and look for some of the other cities near it.
