Just got home a little while ago with him. Of course, it hasn't rained all morning and then decides to downpour when I drive down to get him. He is snoring away right now. He does have some facial paralysis (which is a normal side effect) but the surgeon believes it will be temporary. He's a little wobbly and out of it, but that's to be expected with what he is been through. Didn't want to eat his regular food, but he wolfed down the few pieces of chicken I gave him, so I'm cooking up some rice and will give him some chicken and rice a little later.

The surgeon said that it is a possibility that we'll be able to manage the other ear without surgery, but we'll have to wait and see how this one heals up and how he does after that.

Sounds like he's doing well and will be home later today.
