Philadelphia's ABC Affiliate to Air Special Segment on Pennsylvania Puppy Mills
On Wednesday, May 7, at 11 PM, WPVI Channel 6 in Philadelphia (the ABC affiliate) will air a special segment about Pennsylvania's Lancaster County puppy mills. Regional investigators from Last Chance for Animals worked with the producer for several weeks and accompanied the news crew to several notorious puppy mills in Lancaster County for this story. We also provided the producer with copies of consumer complaints as well as copies of USDA and State inspection reports of Lancaster County kennels.
The objective of the segment is to warn consumers about the pitfalls of purchasing puppies from retail kennels (puppy mills) in Pennsylvania and pet stores, and to encourage consumers to adopt dogs from shelters and breed rescue groups.
If you are within the local viewing area of Channel 6, we urge you to tune in and tell everyone you know about the segment. Promos for the piece will be played throughout the day on Wednesday.

That sounds like a good story. Let me know how the story goes!!
I wonder if..
this has anything to do with that breeder who has the ad in the magazine that lives out that way? Did anyone of you notify the networks? A month or so ago you all discussed doing this. Just thought I'd ask. Wish I could watch to!
