Another question... about diet needs for bulldogs
Submitted by Anonymous on April 20, 2010 - 5:27pmI presently feed Spencer two cups of Nutro dry food twice a day. Spencer is getting close to 7 months and I am wondering if by a certain age I should be decreasing his consumption... and by how much I should if needed?? Or maybe I may be giving too much to him right now.. but his body weight I feel is fine. Im a little confused on this, please help.
Would like to get some information on how you have administered your bullies' intake of food when he had aged.

the amount of food really depends on your dog, his activity level, type of food, etc
if you feel he is a good weight, then continue with what you are doing. if you notice him getting a little round just cut back 1/4 cup or so and see where that takes you over the next month. if you notice him getting too thin, add 1/4 of a cup or so.
