Tom is off today, so I'm talking to a new vet about Betty's bloodwork. The CK wasn't indicative of MMM. There's a specific test for MMM called the 2M Antibody Test, but it's $250 and takes two weeks, so they didn't do that. This vet just didn't feel it's MMM based on the CK level though. She was more concerned with the fact that she is anemic and has a low red blood cell count and the other thing that shows how they are regenerating red blood cells was low. Like Chester???? sigh But she's had her spleen removed in October, so she's got other organs making up for it and that changes things, so I will discuss further with Tom when he's back tomorrow.

But, no answers. Just staying on the Tramadol and Baytril for now and giving it a bit more time to see if things improve. Or worsen. Taking her back Monday if no change...

My poor little Betty. On a lighter note... I have put Raven's things away or given them away, etc. I took the big dog bed and put it in the shed and replaced it with a little chair. It's just too hard for me to see it. Betty moved right in.
