about a breeder on this board? Actually it is more a specific dog I am wondering about. Nothing bad, just Ruby's dad. Don't want to give the info and ask unless it is okay.

listing? if so I think being you are just asking about a pupsters history that you are pleased with ..it should be okay..but not to get my patties slapped ...you might want to email the webbie and ask if it's okay..I do that sometimes..just to be sure.... I'd like to know the answer too....good luck..ce

How can I ask about the dog, without mentioning the name of the kennel (haha, can you tell I am a total rookie at all this dog stuff, I laugh at myself and how little I know)? Nothing is up, I have done a lot of internet searches to find a picture of her daddy, and can't find him anywhere. The breeder didn't have a picture of him. I saw the whole rest of the family (grandparents, great grandparents)just not him. I sent a picture of Ruby to the breeder the other day, and she said she looks the most like the dad, it just peaked my curiosity. She looks nothing like the mom.
In fact, lots of times it's asked who a dog or puppies sire or dam is. It is interesting to see where some dogs come from, nice to know how certain lines produce.
I believe the problem is if one is mentioning a male in reference to soliciting stud service, or a breeder's web site in puppy sales.
I emailed webbie
Thanks for helping.
hum..you got me there...grin..is the breeder /kennel mentioned o
