I am not sure if Daisy has food allergies or not. I have heard that biting or licking at their paws is a sign of allergies. Well, the only time Daisy does this is when she is in her crate. So I am not sure if it is allergies or just boredom. She eats Canidae and has since March. Other than the licking and biting at her paws the food seems to agree with her. She has firm stools and her coat is so shiney. Any suggestions???

Allergies, nervousness, paw pain and mouth pain can cause paw ch
.
Have you thought of changing his food??
I am not an expert in the allergy field but I might think that could help him some. Daisy only chews or licks her paws in her crate. She doesn't bother with them any other time.
I had also read a post before by I think Helen, where she told (It might have been Melisa) to soak her babies feet in Clorox water. I think this was for a fungal infection.

Henry ALWAYS is licking and chewing his feet
I thought somethign must be bothering him! I look and nothing is ever there. I keep thinking he is hurt or something.
So what should I do? Poor guy! I never knew this!
My vet said to put Neosporin between his toes because they must be irritated. Neosporin is his answer for everything!
YUP. =)
It is a sign. Grover's got awful allergies, and his feet are the itchiest.

I have no allergies!
You know how dogs thumb their back legs when you get a good spot when scratching them behind the ears or something?
I've caught Grover chewing his front feet, and thumping his back leg. He get it JUST right!
Daisy's and Henry's might not be allergies though... you never know. Like you said, it might just be boredom! Heck, I used to be an awful nailbiter!!!!!!

Henry does this too- ALL THE TIME
I have never heard of that being a sign of allergies. Is it really?
