After being fixed...
Submitted by admin on April 20, 2010 - 5:27pmMy 7 month old bully was just spayed 2 days ago. Before that she would have maybe an occasional accident, besides that she was almost completely house broken. Since her surgery she has been relentless and has been peeing and pooping in the house constantly.
Has anyone else experienced something similiar?

Spaying
We had Annie spayed a week ago today and she had an awful time. First she was sick for two days and then the same happened with her peeing much more than normal and she was completely housebroken before surgery. She had a lot of swelling right under her incision and that was causing pressure on her bladder. She is almost back to normal now. Have you taken her temperature to be sure there is no infection brewing?
The same thing happened with Daisy
After she was spayed she would go outside and try to pee and then come inside and pee all over. I took her to the vet thinking maybe she had a UTI but she didn't. He said that the bladder and uterus are very close to each other and alot of times the bladder gets a little bruised in the process of spaying. He said to give her about 2 wks and she'd be back to normal, and sure enough he was right.
