Thank you for the compliments on my alpha girl. To answer some of your questions, yes, Sunflower is a rescue. After I lost Icee, I really needed another bulldog. I had some on line friends in Florida who belong to Buddies Thru Bullies rescue. I talked to them, and they said they had the perfect girl for me. There was only one problem. There were two girls, and they would not seperate them.....NO PROBLEM....I took them both.
Sunflower is now 9 1/2 years old, and is the sweetest little cuddle bug you would ever want to meet. she does have seasonal alopecia, but she has it all year long. But that does not make us love her any less. She can be very alpha if she wants to, but she seldom wants to. She is perfectly happy being a couch potato.
She does get a flashback to puppyhood now and then and it is great fun to watch her play and to play with her.
