I'm so sorry Dave. I wish I had words that would help you, but sadly I can only be here to listen and encourage when you need. Zapper knows how much you love him...

is a big help ! I don't break down any longer and I actually laugh and smile talking to him about the crazy bulldog things he used to do :) I don't have any regrets because I know I gave him a good home, plenty of love and attention and took very good care of him.
But boy I sure do miss those little things that we all get used to; the snoring, the antics, the zoomies, the butt wiggling, etc..

(I think ALL bullies are cute---of course-----but there are just some that REALLY stick out....) Please keep posting piks whenever you want---you already know we all miss him and love to keep his memory alive,
and also send ya ((( hugs ))) whenever you need 'em!!!! :-)

Doyle passed away just about 2 years ago, and I visit his grave and talk to him all the time. I have another pooch ( not a bulldog, but a rescue Cane Corso Mastiff who is crazy) but I still miss my boy. We were a unseparable team for almost 9 years, and I often thank him for that while I'm talking to him.
So hard...
when they leave us.
hey dave
nothing wrong with that.....just know he is watching over you!
Mack 'n' Tillie Mae Mack

They are so special.
And, I miss him, too.
Forever in your heart and memories to last
a lifetime.
It is difficult...

It's hard to lose loved ones. I'm glad you've found a way to
get through this. Zapper lived a good and full life; I can tell just by your posts. Fatboy and his humans send their love!
Fatboy aka Stinky :)
Thank you all ! Being able to go to his grave every day
