Oliver usually hangs out in a little nook next to the couch. If someone walks into the kitchen his ears always perk up and might open an eye, but he waits to hear whats going on before exerting the effort to walk the 30 feet to the kitchen. If he ever hears a jar opening (peanut butter), plastic wrap (string cheese), or chopping (he always gets fruits and veggies when we are chopping them) no matter how tired he might be he pops up and plants his butt in the kitchen. Are there sounds that will automatically get your dogs to get up?
As soon as Sophia's daddy comes home, she is there.
She follows him everywhere, especially the kitchen, and SUPER esecially if he opens the pantry or refrigerator doors! If Daddy isn't home, Sophia will run for a cheese wrapper, me getting a plastic baggie out of pantry (horse feeding time and she gets to go for a truck ride), car keys, the box of mini doggie biscuits by the back door...that's about all she is willing to run for!

Well..when the Alarm goes off in the morning -
She totally freaks when that goes off! worse than any person I've ever known.
A Dog barking - on TV or on the Internet - she looks puzzled like 'where is that dog!'
The Icemaker in the fridge :) she like her ice cubes :)
(Don't say "Bye-Byes" - she'll go and sit infront of where her harness and leash are kept)

since Junior was tiny puppy and first started eating kibble..
He would come to the sound of shaking kibble in his bowl. When my husband first met Junior with the rest of his litter when he was just weeks old, the owner said, "Watch this!" He shook the bag of puppy kibble and Baby Junior came toddling over to them looking for food. At almost 11 years old, he still will wake out of a dead sleep and come running from anywhere in the house if I shake his bowl of food. I know I'm going to miss that someday.
Ester and Kohl
get up everytime I move to a different room. Sometimes it drives me crazy. If I just get up to get something like the remote or my glasses Ester jumps off the couch most of the time. I guess she thinks she's going to miss something. Then we have to get resettled and snuggled up.
In the kitchen they always come if they hear the freezer drawer open. They like ice cubes.
MacKenzie ... just sleeps on the couch. He doesn't get up for much of anything except breakfast and dinner time these days.
Food/Anyone going into the kitchen
But i also have a cute video from when Molly was younger. She is totally asleep snoring on the couch, and I whispered "do you want to eat?" Her head immediately pops up and she's off to the kitchen! I will have to post it when i figure out how!
