Well, Stella's done it again

She's managed to give herself an eye ulcer. As careful as I am when I take her out, she sometimes still trips or sticks her head in bushes. Even though her one eye is a prosthetic, it's still her cornea and she can still scratch it. I think she face planted in the snow yesterday and there must have been some ice that scratched her eye.

So back to the vet's again to have it checked out officially, although I'm pretty darned sure with all the practice I've had. Poor little ding dong is all winky and blinky...

Sigh.

Well dog gone it. Poor Miss Stella.

It's NOT an ulcer

Turns out she just "bonked" herself and hurt her eye. With her daddy's broken foot, we've had to move some additional furniture into "her" living room so there are more things for her to crash into. So we've got some antibiotic ointment and I'm to put cold compresses on her eye to get the swelling down. Ultimately this is better than an ulcer, for sure! Poor old girl...
