We are finally moved into our new place and Fatboy

is adjusting really well! I'm so glad. I was afraid he would tear the whole place apart. We were lucky to be able to get a week extra prior to actually moving, so everyday I'd bring Fatboy while I cleaned, brought stuff over etc to get him used to the place. The first couple of times I brought him, his little legs were shaking and he just wanted to go back 'home'. Then at the old place he started noticing "his things" wern't there anymore (furniture) and he would walk around the house looking for them. But eventually he got used to the new place and felt OK being there.

Last night was our actual first night here. He noticed we wern't leaving so he got comfortable with his toys. Then when it was time for bed he knew exactly where we were going to sleep and went right to bed. He even got up in the middle of the night and went to the living room to sleep. Now if that isn't being comfortable in new surroundings I don't know what is :)

Sounds like the move went good, and Fatboy is getting all settled in :) We are so proud of him :)

Sounds like he's adjusting to your new home just fine:) I think that was a really good idea taking him with you during the week so he could get used to the new place.
