There's one in every crowd...

we've never had one that liked bitter apple, but I know once in a while you find a pup that does!  The website for Washington Mall says most places do not allow pets.  Maybe you could call them first?

I don't know.

That depends on the mall. Here in Austin Texas it's a big No.  I do put loulou in a child baby stroller blanket over just like you do a real child she never barks or try's to get out. Lol she doesn't want to walk. Smart dog. But she does goes places where No Dogs Alloud. All they can do is ask you to leave.

We live in DC and I go

We live in DC and I go running on the mall all the time.  You can bring your puppy anywhere that is outside, however you can't take them into the museums.  If you are just planning on walking around and seeing monuments then I would definitely bring your pup as long as they can walk that far!

Cowboy boots - I love it!

Where there is a problem, there is a solution!

I'd love to see a pic of the two of you riding together on the Mall.  That's a lot of walking for a little bully, so I'm sure he'll want to jump on sooner than later.  Remember, you don't want him getting overheated!!  Send us a pic, please!!

Service dog training,

Start having Bouncer trained and then certified to be a service dog for you.  As an ex serviceman there are quite a few of you now being diagnosed with PTSD.. I also saw that you said you were in a wheelchair.  Once your dog is certified, he can go absolutely everywhere with you.  I have a service dog and hes goes everywhere I go..  movies, restaurants, grocery shopping, any other shopping, Dr. appts.  any where I want to go...We actually live in a developement that has a 50 lb. limit on dogs but because Harley is a service dog they cannot do anything about him do to the Americans with disabilities act.. He is 130 lbs.   Just something for you to look into because it sounds to me that you would qualify for one.
