Ok, so I know we have only had Rugby for a month (actually slightly less than a month) but I want a second little guy so badly! Both of us work (although Mike works from home on Fridays), and while we have a dog walker, I feel that if Rugby had a playmate it would make his days go by so much faster. So the questions I have are, when is the best time to introduce another dog into the house and am I completely nuts for thinking this??? #bullyobsessed
Personally - I'd wait
take in all of the puppiness with Rugby - the good an the bad, give it a few more months - then you must work with Rugby daily teaching him, obedience, tricks, going out ot potty etc. When he is really good, then introduce another dog, so that the other dog might follow Rugby's example ;)
There is the other note, a rescue dog - that is older and can teach Rugby :)

wanting another is good
but I would wait also. enjoy every moment you have with your baby. get to know him first. let him get to know you and his new life before adding another dog. first you have to show him rules most of all that he is love and your love for him will always be there, everything is new to him still in life and so are ya. he has feel this is home and he no 1 before you add other dogs. enjoy you boy first get to know him first adding other dogs are just like adding new babies your boy needs to know this is home he is no 1 in your life. and his puppies days are something you will never get back. after that then add another bullie. when adding dogs to the family remember you have to make them feel they are no one and you can't forget the ones that are already there.

I would
Buddy was 7 months when we got Brother.
We went to Butler Univ. for a Beautiful Bulldog contest, and Buddy made friends with another Bully and we knew he wanted company.
Good Luck

Mean people still suck
Thank you!
Yes, I know I have to wait but it is just hard. We are so in love with Rugby and having two just seems like it would be so much fun. Most likely we will get a second in about a year and I can't wait. You are right to enjoy every moment now, the way he is growing, it goes by so quickly! Thanks again for the advice...
My Bella was a year when we
My Bella was a year when we adopted Maggie. She was also a year old. At the time I had a pug too. All three were girls and they battled it out for alpha. I would enjoy the puppy before adding another. It is fun having two bulls. My problem was everyone wanted to be boss!
