I believe Kippah has/had a UTI. Yesterday she piddled on the living room floor MULTIPLE times, but just a tiny bit each time and then she would run to the door. She did not have a fever and did not seem to be uncomfortable.
Later in the evening I added a spoon of Apple Cider Vinegar to her water bowl, and kept adding ice to it (she loves ice, so she drank quite a bit) She seemed to be better this morning. I remembered drinking ACV in my water when I felt I was coming down with a bladder infection, and it often knocked it out. Wondering if it did the trick...should I just keep an eye on her, or should I take her in anyway? What would you do? Hubs is trying to make an appointment for tomorrow morning, he would make an appointment if she stubbed her paw, but I am wondering what to do.

ay...the cutie patootie i hope she's better today!
Well...
I would probably have her tested. I don't think you actually need to bring her in though. Just get a sample of tinkle (tricky but do-able) and bring it in for analysis. If it's a UTI, you just stop by later in the day and pic up the antibiotics.
Easy peasy - and it will probably cost less than the vet visit included!
Pee in a bottle.........
any suggestions on how I can get this done......Hubby said it was a female job! HA

I've done it a thousand times
1) roll up your sleeve (ha!)
2) wait until she squats and lets the flow go a bit
3) stick a small plastic container right under there
4) dry off your hand :)
Misc. tips: try to get her first pee in the morning, it's usually the most conclusive; don't put the sample in the fridge; drop it off as soon as you can, but you do have a few hours so no need to panic and rush (this part daddy can do).
Celine I love the way you said it.
Yes daddy can drop it off I havent had to do this get. Thank god. But I put appear cider vinger in their water to begin with. Just been luck!. But no one could of said this better .

So the cider...
Do you use this all the time, it was something I remembered from WAY back, and I figured it would not hurt her! Do you use ACV all the time in their water then? How much do you use? Does it have other benefits (digestion, coat, etc)
