Our Jack is a little over 4 months and he's doing the same thing. Some days aren't so bad and then some days are awful. The vet said to expect it to be like this until they are at least 6 months. But that doesn't mean you let them get away with it. When Jack bites, we give a firm "no" and then immediately put one of his toys in his mouth to bite on. We've used the spray bottle on occassion and that works sometimes along with the firm "no". When we are outside playing and Jack is being relentless with the biting of the feet, I spray bitter apple on our shoes and that seems to make a big difference also. Its alot of work and won't be corrected overnight but it will get better over time.

The nylabones are great. We use a variety of toys with different textures too. We have stuffed animals, rope toys, nylabones, tennis balls, jolly balls, and empty water bottles. Jack destroys things pretty quickly so we're constantly monitoring him and swiping out toys that get to the point of being dangerous. But skip the rawhides since they can be a choking hazard.

bully sticks have helped us, they keep Bean entertained for at least 30 minutes at a time. the chewing was getting so bad our family was eating dinner at the table indian style so we wouldn't get our feet chewed.

Yes, my lil pup has been very curious and definately biting his little teeth off. I have been giving him a firm "no" and is it bad that I put him in his cage when his biting is uncotrollable?
Normal

Agree - Normal
and your doing a good job.
It will pass once they are done teething. But their jaw continues to change so they still need lots to chew on.
NylaBones -- dont get them to small
We always use NylaBones - and now natural shed Antlers (Deer, or Elk)
:)
Last steps taken May 26, 2014 -- Been rolling along ever since . . . .
Definitely lots of toys but no rawhides
