I used to buy her the stuffed toys and let her destroy them. It's important, though to watch your bullie every second so no piece of cloth or stuffing is swallowed. Nylabones are good, too. I've also used a length of strong and very thick rope with a knot on each end for tug. There are also stuff-like toys without any stuffing in them. They're not stuffies, their flatties.
Don't let your bulldog have any rawhide. They can bite off pieces or slime up a big piece and try to swallow it whole. I almost lost a bulldog this way. If my dad hadn't been there to clear the dog's airway and give it mouth-to-mouth, I would have.

Tucker loves fabric/stuffed toys too and does a good job of ripping them up but we're careful with what we give him and we usually don't leave him home alone with them. We have found these stuffed toys that quite a few pet stores here in Canada sell. I think the specific name is "Tuffy". They're a very thick layered material and they are stuffed but it takes even Tucker a while to get through one. Each toy is rated on a toughness level and they come in different sizes. Tucker likes the animal shaped ones. They aren't cheap but IMO usually they're worth the price. KONG does make somthing similar but we haven't found them to be as tough and they definitely don't last as long.
Of course, we still supervise his play with any toy and take it away when it gets too damaged. Good luck!
I used to give Maybull
