Toronto Bully Meet-up
Submitted by Katie and Tucker on May 28, 2012 - 12:44pmIf there is any Torontonians out there I thought i'd let you know that we have a meet-up next wknd(Sunday June 3rd) @ Cherry Beach. It starts @ 11:00 and so far there's about 24 bully owners attending. Bully mania! If you need any more info let me know. You also might want to sign up on-line to join the group first.
Not sure if we will be going as we have a nephews birthday to go to at Chuck e Cheese, ahhh! Let's just say i'd rather be hanging out with all the bum wigglers :)
Like I said, let me know if you need more info. The moderator of the group will be there and it is a great bunch of bully's and owners! There's also lots of shade at that dog park if you've not been.
Tucker's also available for "private" meet-ups most wknds if you're not interested in the group thing. We'd love to get together with other bully's in Toronto!

I am totally interested but since Phoebe will just be arriving at her new home on Friday we will not be able to join you this time. HOWEVER for the future we are definitely interested in joining the party. You mentioned joining the group so would love more info as to how to do that. Hope this Sunday is a huge blast as I am sure it will be. Have a great time!
hot weather meetups
That is something to consider in the summer for our bullies. In the past the Toronto meetups in the summer were early in the day to avoid the hottest part of the day as the bullies love to play.
good reminder
That's a good reminder. I think it's supposed to be cooler on the wknd. A msg was just sent reminding everyone about heat stroke in bullies. I can't see anyone staying too long if it's hot.
Maybe i'll suggest that future meetups be earlier. Luckily there's lots of shade at Cherry Beach. One again, thanks for the reminder!

Oops, this coming's meet-up isn't at Cherry Beach it's at Coronation Park down by the Exhibition. Pretty easy to get to.
Carol, if you go to meetup.com and search out T.O. Bulldogs you should find the link. Phoebe wouldn't be the only pup in the group. Tucker, my husband and I saw on of the members yesterday with his pup(Guiness) at Cherry Beach. I think he's only like 5 months, maybe younger. He's such a cutie and still has that crazy puppy energy as well as the little bum wiggle!
Like I said before, we can't go this wknd :( but hopefully will be at the next one. We'd love to meet Phoebe.

we hope to go to one of these!!! If only there was a magic carpet that could take us there in about
5 minutes.....and of course, that carpet would need to be frozen so they didn't get too hot! Have fun!
