I saw this video today of a bulldog and his owner. The bulldog is okay but the owner is apparently getting alot of heat over this elevator mishap. I have to be honest and say that I feel a little sorry for the man. He made a terrible mistake that could have ended up really bad. But I've accidently done things like bump my kids' heads so I know things just happen sometimes. I think he'll learn from this mistake.

oh my God...that video made me cry a little!
I feel terrible for the dog and the owner. I do think he could have done more (ie hold the door button until his dog actually got on). I don't really want to get in to the debate about. Thank God the dog was not seriously hurt.
On an unrelated, but related note...if that's really a pure EB I don't like how skinny it is. You can clearly see its rib cage in that video. Bullies (of the English variety) should not be that "lean."

My swimming bully buddy!

I agree
I do think there is alot more the guy could have done. I would have been running down the stairs to check on the dog and would have made sure the dog was on the elevator with me. I can just relate to being lost in thought and something happening. I'm not sure what kind of bulldog he is, I wouldn't even have known it was a bulldog except the newscaster mentioned it.

This is total crap!
Sorry he could of kill that dog. I can't feel sorry for this man. He should get in trouble and the dog taken from him. Sorry ya I treat my dogs like they are my kids eyes on them at all times. I have raise three kids and always had three dogs. There is no excuses sorry I can't buy them. That the way I feel I have watch it over and over.

Glad to hear the bullie was fine, very hard to view and the girls in the office didn't even want to watch after I gasped!
This was all over the news last night...
I can't even watch it.

Yikes
I saw this on the new's tonight. I don't understand why he stood there when the elevator door's closed but I would like to hear his side of the story. Poor baby bully!

OMG
It was so shocking to watch the video. Glad the bulldog was ok. I don't have any sympathy for the dog's owner :(
