Just because you fell in the pool, now I have to wear this.

The story--we went to a friends pool yesterday, Ozzy walked up the pool and must have thought I need a drink, but when he bent over, he toppled in. He was fine, a good friend jumped in to save him--shoes and dress and all and he was fine the rest of the day. So as a joke we put these on the boys.

Really sad day for you. I never let SOphie near a pool. Scares me to pieces. Glad all was ok, and that IS a cute pic!

We had just walked in and I had Jax. Ozzy is afraid of most things so as I was getting Jax settled he toppled in. If I had let go of Jax's leash, he would have jumped in to "save" him. We thought jax would be the one we had to watch then Ozzy falls in. He was fine and got close to the pool after that but he kept his distance. Jax can swim a little, but Ozzy just sinks like a stone. Thankful it was a shallow end.

WHEW!! Glad he's OK!!

Glad he's OK and your friend jumped in to save him...very scary. I hope he learned his lesson too!

But it was scary. It became funny once we knew he was ok. And yes he was more cautious around the edge of the pool after that, I think Jax was even more careful

Funny how they are just like small babies. Loulou how ever well she see water shr on a dead run to jump in. This girl forgets she a bulldog and not the fish she is in her heart. My Bubba never gets near water. He hates it. All he wants to do is pout on the side. Glad Ozzy was o.k and your friend well that's a real friend when they jump in to save the bulldog.

had the EXACT same thing happen when Meaty was younger-----and of COURSE, it had to be the DEEP END...

Thank Goodness I was RIGHT there, so I jumped in SO fast as I saw him sinking.....what a terrrible feeling!! He

was also totally okay, vomited a bit, but he was probably under water 3-5 seconds max......

I was fully clothed with a CAMERA in my hand when it happened....we all laughed about it later....and....P.S...

thank goodness, in my panic, I still tossed the camera onto a soft chair!! (not that a material thing

mattered, of course,

but that camera had A LOT of precious photos in it that hadn't been uploaded yet !!!)
