switched water for D, questions..

So i remember someone postinga thread about reg tap water, and how it can essentially make the tear stains darker?..

I noticed lately that his tear stains have been really dark and raw.. even when i go to wipe it i feel bad, so im doing it as gently as i can so that im not creating friction on his poor little face..

so i went and got one of the brita filters to fill and put in the fridge, i started giving him the fresher water yesterday, when should i start to see his face get back to a somewhat normal color?. i miss his white little face, hes just pink and wet all the time lol.

Thanks guys!.

We noticed a difference in about 3 weeks...

and it should be cleared up by 6 weeks.  We still use the Britta pitcher, we just keep it out on the counter.  I can always tell when it needs a new filter because Newman will start to show some tear stains!  We also use grain free food which helps.

yes several weeks - Wishing D well !

Love ya buddy :)

I have always given Tiny

I have always given Tiny water out of my little brita fliter (sometimes I even give her bottled water) my friend's bulldog had really bad tear stain, they switched to brita and it has slowly gone away - looks much better I highly suggest it!
