Starting a playgroup
Submitted by SNACPete on February 1, 2012 - 8:27amFortunately someone in my area got this bulldog playgroup started a while ago and its become popular. They started out on some online site and have moved to a facebook page. The facebook page is easier for people to find and easier to get playdates setup. So if some of you wanted to get a playgroup started in your area, using facebook is an idea. And then its just word of mouth at that point. Our playgroup's name on facebook is Virginia Beach Bullies so its really easy for someone to find the page.

I think "meet up" began charging money or something. I overheard someone talking about why the group left that site and just went to facebook.
