Sophie in the weeds:-)

I made the mistake the other day of getting her out of the truck and taking a little walk in our pasture by the barn. Now Sophia asks to get out every time we go to the barn, and today she was just posing away! So I took a coupld pics of the little nut. She looks so black in these, but she is a dark brown brindle.

Don't know where you live...
but am looking at the grass around Sophie and just want to suggest that you check her thoroughly for ticks after being in that long grass. Just to be on the safe side. She sure looks to be quite happy to be there,

I live in north central Texas. We have a lot of ticks here, and my dogs are all on preventitives. But I will make sure and go over her carefully:-)

They really know what they want, don't they! Funny, we don't seem to have ticks here in phx.
The only place in Phoenix we had ticks...
Was when we lived down on 20th Street and Glendale Ave for a couple of years. There were those horrendous blood ticks, and all of our dogs had them. I hated those things.
We moved back up in to Scottsdale and no more ticks. I think they are afraid to live inScottsdale!

Amy, Sophia is a real cutie pie.
She looks so sweet and happy. I love her coloring. I think it is a reverse brindle. I had a couple of bullies with that coloring. You can see them on my facebook page.
PS: I didn't get to acknowledge your pics of your additional family members and I can no longer find the post, but I wanted to say what a good looking family you have. Red is absolutely gorgeous. Except for your dobie, we have the exact same dogs..lol
