skin fold question

So the skin fold under dozers two eyes where the tears would fall, And the fold above his nose.. Seem to be super wet lately,. Ive been take a super soft rag to try abd dry it out the best i can, but i feel like its always wet and mushy, and its starting to creat friction bw the two layers and getting red.. Is there a powder or anything i can place in the folds to try and dry then out a little?. He didnt have it as bad when we first brought him home last year,but i have noticed that it a lot sooner this year. Thanks guys.!

A couple of suggestions
ARe you in a cool climate? Sometimes when the heat comes on, their eyes get a bit irritated due to dryness. I bought some artificial tears ("natural artificial tear") at the drug store and put them in Stella's eye to keep it moist.
For the folds, I've used zinc diaper ointment. It has the same moisture resistance/healing properties as it does on a baby's bottom. :)

we live on long island. And lately the weather has been up and down.. its was in the low 50's last week where we wer about to get hit with a noreaster,.. to the last 3 days its been like 68.. so its deff been up and down.. We live in a basement, so i have to put the dehumidifier on at least once maybe twince a week, cause it get mucky down here.. we do control our own heat and air.. I like he cool, so i havent really had the heat on.. i try and keep the door and windows open to get as much fresh hair as i could.. but i noticed he skin as started to be like this since early sept.. if he calms down, ill try to get a pic of it.

I should mention to used a cotton ball when using the airbrush cleaner. Im telling you guys this stuff is like a eraser for tear stains... I should bottle it and sell it lol!!
