Rugby's First Birthday - Recipe Ideas?

Hi BDW-

It is hard to believe that our Rug man will be one on Friday! We have stockpiled gifts for him and can't wait to celebrate but I need help in that I want to make a cake but need a decent recipe! Would love any input!

We did give him one gift early... his first big boy bed! We decided before investing in an LL Bean bed that we would wait until his chewing phase was over... I think he likes it :-)

It has also been amazing seeing his increased energy with the colder weather... he is SO happy that it is no longer hot outside .

I just made the boys their 1st birthday pupcakes not too long ago. I have attached the link for you. Instead of a cake I made them mini cupcakes, so they could enjoy them over a couple days. My husband had one and he said it tasted like nothing, but the boys really enjoyed it. Hope Rugby enjoys the birthday treats that you make.
