Rugby is Home and Happy
Submitted by buddies1220 on December 28, 2011 - 12:13amWell, I thought I had hit max love capacity for this little guy when we met on Friday, and now that he is home, I only realized that this love business is going to continue to grow. Rugby already has us wrapped around his little paws and he has been SO good! We arrived home and I immediately put him in his crate/xpen area, he started sniffing and within 5 minutes was nicely snug on his bed with his blanket:
The breeder mentioned that Rugby might be a little tired and potentially not eat a full meal due to all the major changes, but he was full of energy and ate every bite of his dinner. He has also been doing his business on the newspaper (and getting lots of praise for it) and loves the two toys we have given him (more to come but we didn't want to overwhelm him)
We have had so much fun and it is only the first day, I mean, how can you possibly not fall in love with this guy???
Nervous about his first night, but I think he will be ok... fingers crossed!
