Road Trip next week. (no pics)

He's going to have his emergency kit, his meds, his toys, bowls, food, water, harness and "what the heck is going on" look on his face come next week. This should be interesting. We're not stopping either (overnight anywhere I mean). And back at home the temps are HOT. Glad my family has central air. I'm just worried about his health. He's on the mend but still, what kind of a mother would I be if I didn't worry? :)

One thing. How to get you to my house. Lol I hope you have a great time. I think he will be just fine. After all he is with his mommy and nothing could be better than that. Stop worry I bet Fatnot will find himself riding in the Front. Set just do he will get the cool air. Have a great time and take lots of pictures we want to see more of him ,

We just did a 5 day road trip with Farley....
From Washington State to Texas. I had cool pads on the back seat for him and our Boxer (and the cat) to sleep on, kept the air cold, limited the time he was outside ( we went from 68 degrees to 105 in one day!). I kept water on the floor for him at all times, and added a bowl of ice for him to munch on from time to time.
I kept my extra set of keys on me so when we stopped for food/water/ rest stops etc. I kept the truck running and locked it with my extra keys.
My husband was ready to kill me with all the prep I did for this trip for the dogs!! :)
He never had any issues and has adjusted very well to the heat here.
