Richmond Valley Veterinary Practice - Vet recommendation

Hi, We are having our bulldog neutered and are concerned with the elevated risks of anaesthesia with this breed. We were going to take him to Dr. Kinnear in Staten Island because of his expertise with the bulldogs, but were told he retired. Any recommendations of other vets at Richmond Valley Veterinary Practice who work regularly with bulldogs? Thanks.

I know that several of our members take their bullies to Richmond Valley Vets, and Dr. Shull is a good bully vet there. If you want more information, you can PM cathyandzimmer, they will have more information for you.

All of the vets there are very experienced in bulldogs, two of my friends have had surgeries done by Dr. Shull and they loved him.

Thanks for the recommendation. We took Hugo to Dr. Shull to be neutered and everything turned out well. The Dr. was very knowledgeable about the breed and a really nice guy. Highly recommended for bulldog owners in the Tri-State area.
