Picked up Remy this morning and Dr. Sanders said he did great!! He put Remy on some beta blockers and other than that doesn't need to see him back for a year unless there is an emergency!!! He also said that although Remy's coronary artery is abnormally placed it's not placed where he usually sees it in bulldogs. It's almost where it's supposed to be just a low enough in the heart that it does still wrap around his pulmonary artery. He didn't rule out that sometime in the future Remy may need to have the balloon plasty done, but only if Remy starts to develop symptoms or his tricuspid valve starts leaking, then he said the risks of surgery would outweigh not doing anything. He's happy to be home with his brothers and this is a little video I took after they all went into the back yard.
