Bulldogs World

We went out with Quigley today, to a local dog friendly wine store and the hardware store. One of the clerks at the wine store took photos of Quigley (see here.)

But what happened at the hardware store was amazing. A woman came up to me to pet Quigley and tell me that they'd just gotten a new bulldog puppy, a few weeks older than Quigley. We compared notes and it turns out that we used the same breeder, Rinegold Kennels in St. Paul. Our dogs are half-siblings. It's their first bulldog and they got it at no cost because there's has a heart murmur and they've promised to pay for the dog's surgery to make her well. Their bulldog is named Charlotte.

What's the chance that we'd meet up at the same time and at the same place? We're going to have to get together with them once their dog is better.
