I noticed about a week or 5 days ago that the leg where lola had her TPLO and later TPLO plate removed has a soft moveale lima bean sizes lump on it.. Her leg has been through the ringer and because of the two surgeries has some scars.. I know lumps appear and there is always a diffrent approach.. The lump she had on this leg last time turned out to be an infection because one of the screws were loose on her plate but that was well over a year ago and there is no plate.. I did some research and there are 100 diffrent things that it could be.. it does appear to be just in the skin and wouldnt say it hurts her but she clearly isnt a fan of me fooling with it... I know if I want piece of mind I should bring her in but wanted to see if anyone shared simlar experiences.. since its right near the old incision I am wondering if its fluid building up.. seems to be less apparent in the morning and more at the end of the day..
Wow, so many possibilities . .
I think you summed it up best here. .
"I did some research and there are 100 diffrent things that it could be" .
Maybe a bug bite ? maybe scar tissue? maybe a boil ? I hate to say it, but I have no reassurances :(
.
A trip to the Vet would be the best bet (even if its a unnecessary trip, its better than worrying about it)
.
Good Luck, and please keep us updated
Last steps taken May 26, 2014 -- Been rolling along ever since . . . .
for sure it could be
for sure it could be anything...and not necessarily the worst thing(i know where your mind went)
you say it varies in looks at different times in tne day...see how it goes next day or so and then
take her to the vet...will she let you clean around it and maybe disinfect the area?
pls let us know

Newman had a movable lump on his leg...
The vet didn't like it so we had it removed and it turned out to be an inflamed cyst. Hope Lola's is nothing too.
Is it Inside?
inside of her leg? There are lumph nodes on the inside of the leg which can be bean sized.
Not Lymph node..
I found those about 2 years ago and freaked out lol.. We have an apointment for friday.. the lump I think it fluid because it changes sizes.. its flat in the morning and contains more fluid in the afternoon.. I can manipulate the shape if I press on it so we will see.. Figure pay for peace of mind and stop assuming.. thanks for everyones input..
