Joe and I are always having this discussion. He wants to bathe them every couple of weeks, yet I am concerned that it will dry out their skin. So how often do you bathe your kids. I understand if they get into something stinky or dirty then it could happen more often. But normal times.
Thanks-Lyn
Two to three times a year
Seriously. Stella was not a naturally "stinky" dog and she hated getting dirty or wet. So there was no real reason too. We usually bathed her before the Holidays though - and, of course, if she did get into something she shouldn't have.
Maybe 3 times a year....only when necessary
BUT..I do wipe him down every other day w/ unscented baby wipes.
I bathe all three of mine every other week...
I use a mild oatmeal shampoo and rinse them thoroughly. I also use a furminator to keep them from shedding a lot. You can give them fish oil to help them replenish natural oils. My guys always seem dusty and oily if I don't bathe them enough. We have a walk in shower, so I put all three of them in there and wash away.
not too often for us
Kippah has not been a stinky one (so far) and she doesnt go out and roll in the lawn or anything like that, so we only bathe her every 2-3 months.
Its been a little over 2 months now and I noticed she is starting to look into the tub alot when water is running, her last bath was expidited when she jumped into the tub---full of water and ME!

Well mine haven't been bathed since last August. But I normally don't wait that long. Just moving to a new place and I have not installed a hand sprayer yet and I won't bath them without it.
I also haven't been a show since last August.
But I do not recommend bathing anymore then necessary. Unless there is a medical issue and of course they get dirty and stinky, roll in something you know. ;)
Mine are just now getting stinky and need baths.
Once every three to four weeks.
She gets stinky and we wash her....
we bathe
Tucker when he's really dirty, like when he's been at the beach and that's more like a good wet wipe down usually without shampoo. He's a pain in the butt to bathe at home. Sometimes he goes to the groomer for a good brush and bath when we're going away and bringing him with us. I like to bring him clean and almost shed free when we are staying with family. That's about 4 times a year.

w/my archie i did it every
w/my archie i did it every 2-3 weeks....he would be in everything esp his face
and from all that rolling around he would turn gray....lol
Once a week.
Bruce has had all his parvo shot for about 6 weeks now. I take him to the park , dog park , or on a walk everyday and boy he gets stinky!!! I use a mild oatmeal wash and if I notice he smells befor his Sunday bath I use a warm washcloth with a little of his soap and wipe his coat down. I make sure I clean off all the extra residue. I have had zero skin problems but he has a dark coat. I think from what I've read that the white coats tend to be more sensitive. But being a first time bull mommy I'm not positive. I also use a nail grinder about once a month and he is getting use to it. Good luck!!
We try to bath her once a month
Even though she is an indoor dog,. she is still a bulldog.....and they get stinky! The folds, the ears, the eyes, the cute butts - they really get dirty fast, and she is white so you can really tell when she needs a bath. They always look so good after a nice cleaning!!
When dirty, or every 2/3
When dirty, or every 2/3 months. Their folds get wiped and their paws are washed daily.
