Well, the oncologist said my husband is now in the final stages of stage IV pancreatic cancer and has finally refered my husband to the pain management dept. at Moffit Cancer Center as he was not getting any real relief from the oxycotin and oxycodone he was taking. They have now added morphine to his meds. and he is going to have a nerve block of the pancreas area done. I am so worried about him being put out for this procedure in his very weakened condition. He is just so sick but has decided to continue receiving chemo as he is not ready to give up yet. It's been 27 months of chemo and radiation so far. I hate seeing him like this and not being able to do anything for him. So, please keep him in your prayers, he needs all he can get. And to keep it bullie related, here is a picture of Slugger after eating a snowball. I bet he wishes he had one now.

My thoughts and prayers are with you
Although not as extreme I can relate as my husband has been dealing with cancer on and off for the past 3 years. Two surgeries and two(going on a third) boughts of radiation later he's still not out of the woods. My baby girl and Tucker get me through things when they get tough. Tucker seems to understand the most even though he's a dog. It's that snuggle time and the kisses Tucker gives that turn my sadness to smiles. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Cancer sucks, period! Make sure you keep everyone updated.
