Ugh,
Poor guy was off his food this am, which is very strange for Titus. He always eats with gusto. Wife took him to the vet and he was running a fever and has Pneumonia =(. So he has to stay overnight at the vet so they can give him and IV to get his fever down and make sure his Pneumonia does not worsen.
To top it off, my black lab needs to get surgery to remove a benign fatty tumor on his leg and go through a deep clean on this teeth.
I think I am funding my Vet's kids college education =).
That's not good!
Poor guy. Sounds like you got to it pretty fast though, so I'm sure he'll recover soon enough.
And don't even talk to me about funding the vet's extracurricular activities. I'm sure mine has a house in the Bahamas thanks to me and Stella!
Yea we need 'frequent flyer Miles' for the vets :p
I hope *THEY* feel better! Both Puppies :/ no one gonna be home to keep the bed warm it sounds like tonight.
It'll be a year next month we've had Gizmo.... and I need to write off her medical bills from my taxes ! Can I use the ADOPTION Deduction from Uncle Sam too? :) :)
Last steps taken May 26, 2014 -- Been rolling along ever since . . . .
If only!
I keep saying I'm going to claim Stella as a dependent on my taxes. We don't have kids but I spend more on her than I would on private school - so I figure I should be allowed.
Best of luck to both your babies!
The sad part is, my wife and
The sad part is, my wife and I would go without eating if needed to care for our Dogs.
That's not sad,
That's why you're good parents! The furry babies come first.

To you and Titus. Hopefully he will well and home soon. Oz had pneumonia when he was a pup--very scary.

Sky got it once and had to be in an Oxygen chamber for two days. It ended up being about $3,000. They aren't joking on the homepage when they say they are 25,000 dollar dogs, BUT WORTH every penny.
