I know I too would go without just to make sure my animals are taken care of. Some people would say we are crazy, but I say that is what a great owner would do. My husband and I would joke after paying some of Kilmore's vet bills, "Looks like mac n' cheese and hotdogs all week". I still say Kilmore and Winnie ate better than we did sometimes.

Hope Maybull gets to feeling better soon and that you do as well!
