Overeating, drinking

The only concern I have is when it's time to eat or drink she attacks it until its gone. She will then hunt for more until she finds it ( our other pups food ) , I'm afraid she is going to hurt herself doing this. Any thoughts?

Chester would gulp his food when he was a pup and...
almost choked on it. We started putting his food on a cookie sheet and spreading it out so it took him longer to eat it. He eventually got over it. The main thing I would worry about would be choking from eating too fast. He still looks in everyones bowl after he finished his food.
It's normal
but be sure you are feeding 4 times a day, smaller meals so the puppy is utilizing the food. Depending on the puppies size it may be hungry. I would probably feed 4, 3/4 - 1 c feedings. Sometimes you do have to limit the water after feedings to smaller amounts so they don't burst...lol! What food are you feeding? I think Kohl actually was eating about 5 cups a day if I remember right up until he was about 5 months, then I was able to gradually reduce ythe amount. They all grow differently and need different amounts at different times.

Maybe this is somehow related to hormonal surges that your dog must be experiencing. It would probably hep if you bring her to a trainer just to calm her up so that she wont end up hurting herself cause if you just let this happen then she might think that its okay and later on develop this into a habit so better train her early about this behavior that bothers you as well.
Jack did the same
Jack did and still does the same. In the beginning we took this as an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. I would sit near his food bowl and put just a little bit of food in his bowl at a time. This not only slowed his eating down, but it also got Jack used to having our hands in his food bowl. He's getting 3 cups a day total plus a few treats and gaining weight but you would think the poor guy is getting starved.
