I don't start a whole lot of interesting threads around here so I thought I'd share my fun little story today. (sorry I didn't have my phone on me so no pics) Today when my husband and I went to pick our daughter up from school, we decided to walk over and take Sissy with us. While we waited outside, several people came up to greet the "adorable doggy". Then when the bell rang and school let out, I didn't think we were ever going to get out of there because Sissy is a kid magnet! They would come up in droves to ooh and ahh at her and Sissy being the spoiled little princess she is, ate the attention right up! It just amazes me that this dog, who spent the first four years of her life in a kennel environment with no training before we got her responds so well to these situations! Since her adventure, she has of course spent the rest of the evening catching up on her beauty sleep:)
way to go sissy!!
i believe they 'learn' how to respond to our love and respect with some of their own. sissy knows how lucky she is and responds to the fact that you feel the same way. great story! have a nice rest sissy! and keep up the good work!

Great story!
I bet Sissy loved every single second and I'm sure the kids loved meeting her. :) The mental picture of her swamped with all the kiddos is a great one to start my day. Thanks for sharing the cute story!! :)

My swimming bully buddy!
Well of course!
I'm not surprised she's a kid magnet! And I agree, amazing that her sweet soul rose above her early hardships.
I wish I'd been there myself - I would have gotten in some lovin' too!
That's a sweet story!
Thank you for sharing it. I wish I could have seen Sissy in person as a bulldog ambassador!
