He was walking around panting, not that unusual because it's still hot here and it's been humid from the hurricane, but he couldn't settle down and he was just pacing and panting. I cleaned his ears and gave him a couple of benedryls and after about 4 hours, he finally went to sleep. He was not paying attention to me when he was doing this, like he was totally in another zone. He is fine today, laying around and very calm. He is having some weakness in his back legs, so we were giving him glucosomine and some antiinflammatories, but we have stopped all of that thinking maybe his stomach hurts. Poor guy, he's 10 1/2 now and I know his age is catching up t him.
He did just have blood work done two weeks ago...
and everything was normal.

Amy, he's not as crazed tonite...
We stopped all his meds including glucosamine. I made an appt for tomorrow to get an X-ray to see why his back legs are so weak. If it is arthritis maybe adequate would be better for his stomach. He is just looking old and frail, heartbreaking to watch.
