Bulldogs World

Oliver has had a pretty fun month so far.  We took him up to my parents place in Sonoma over the holiday weekend.  It was so nice to see Oliver be able to go outside whenever he wanted and explore the backyard (we live on the third floor of an apartment).  He liked drinking out of the fountain and hanging out in the shade.

When he wasnt outside he would trot around sticking his nose into whatever anyone was doing, my parents got a big kick out of that.

Next we had to take him to the vet because we noticed he had this big swellinig inside his mouth near his gums.  Worried it was an abscess but turns out it was probably a bee sting and cleared up with some benadryl and time.  Not the best time but Oliver behaved well and we met 2 other bulldogs there.  Hes begging for cheese in this picture.

And this weekend we got to go to the beach because it was too hot at home.  Phone died so didnt get to take too many pictures but here are a couple.  The last one is of a dog that climbed up the sea cliffs from the beach and got stuck, you can barely see him about halfway up the cliff.  So scary but the firefighters came and repelled down and rescued the dog.

Needless to say he is pretty pooped now, trying to sleep sitting up.
