Okay Bully lovers. Getting to know you, getting to know....

All about you....

Theme for today. Tell me a little about...YOU! We are all bully lovers and family on this forum. Lets get to know each other better, shall we?!

I will start.

I am Amy and I am married to Paul. We live in North Central Texas. My husband and I own an interstate commercial/industrial construction company that focuses on the food service facility industry as well as free standing box stores and strip malls. We have a grown daughter named Kate who is married to Alex and they have our precious coming 4 year old grand daughter Audrey. Kate and Alex work with my hubby and I in our business.

We also own a 95 acre ranch that we run horses on. I do all breed horse rescue, focusing on off the track Thoroughbreds. I love bringing an abused or neglected horse home to nurture and give a life to. They are such awesome creatures and I am blessed to be able to do what I do. Right now we have 12 horses of our own and I board a filly for someone else. I love my horses, they are my passion in life:-)

We have 4 dogs. Sophia the Bully Babe, Kora the elderly Doberman, Millie the elderly German Shepard, and Will the one year old, three legged Anatolian Shep/Great Pyrenees cross. We also have 4 cats of varying fur levels, and 3 little donkeys that are precious to us.

Now, the game is...tell me some information about YOU! Who you are, what area or state you live in, what you do, what you like, etc. This will be fun and uplifting I believe.

I'll go

Joe and I live in Marlborough Massachusetts (born and raised here).  Joe is a locksmith and I am an accountant for a small company. We have been married for 6 years.  We recently bought the house I grew up in.  We have our 2 bullies (Ozzy and Jax) and 2 cats (Max and Skat).  We got Ozzy for my birthday 4 years ago and it was the BEST birthday present ever.  Jax was an I need another bully addition for our anniversary in 2011.

I'm Veronica, and I'm married

I'm Veronica, and I'm married to Mike. We live in southeast Massachusetts with Beatrix, and four cats who (by no design of ours) are all orange or orange and white. Pippen is the trouble-maker of the bunch, and she's Beatrix's favorite.

I work a day-job at Harvard Univeristy, doing admin stuff, and have my own business where I make historically inspired clothing, terribly geeky patches, and accessories like messenger bags and chokers and maks and such.  It's not how I make a living yet, but I'm bound and determined to get it there. I vend online and also at a handful of renaissance faires and SCA events around New England.

Mike works a day-job as an intrepid reporter for a newspaper down on Cape Cod, and is desperately seeking an agent and/or publisher for his fiction writing.

Beatrix is our first bulldog, and my first dog as an adult, so the first I've really had responsibility for. And we could not have asked for a better dog -- I love her to pieces. :)

Okay, I'm in...

I'm Kathy, married to Ed 30 some years, live in Cave Creek/North Phoenix, Arizona.  We have 3 bullies, Newman is 2, Chester is 4 and Oliver is 8.  We have been retired for a while, have 9 grandchildren ranging from 1 year to 11.  I paint (oil on canvas), play a lot of golf and spend a lot of time with the grandkids.  When it gets too hot in the valley, we head for Prescott where we have a little house on the golf course and the boys love to sit in the back yard and bark at the golfers.  I am a thyroid cancer survivor and spend a lot of time working out and doing yoga.

AmyandSophia's picture

Hi Kathy, thanks for sharing with us!

I always think about how close we were to knowing each other years ago, with living in the same area and Chaparral and everything. It's funny that all these years later we are friends on a Bulldog site!

About me!

Here's the info on me :)

My name is Shannon and I live in the Kansas City metro area.  My boyfriend and I are in the process of buying a house (exciting and scary at the same time).  I work for the county government as a residential real estate appraiser (my boyfriend works in my office as well, but he works on the commercial appraisal side).  I just recently earned my international appraisal designation (super exciting) and will be receiving my "diploma" at the big international conference that will be held in KC this summer. :)

Together Jon and I are owned by Winston.  He's 2.5 year old rescue who came to me through BCARN at the age of 10 months old.  My sweet boy LOVES to swim (I cannot keep that dog out of the pool) and he loves squeaky tennis balls.

I volunteer for rescue and I while there are moments I hate, I love the experience.  I help transport surrendered dogs, I do phone interviews of prospective adoptive families and recently I fostered a sweet little baby.  KC is fortunate to have one of the best bulldog vets in the country, and given Maggie's unusual and progressed diagnosis it was in her best interest to be seen and treated by him.  Maggie's been cleared by our vet and has moved on to another foster home (*fingers crossed they are foster failures!!!*).  Once we move and are settled in to our home I hope to do more fostering (and maybe more adopting). :)

My boyfriend is a die hard University of Kansas fan, and funnily enough I'm a die hard Kansas State University fan.  For the most part we get along pretty well during the sports season (except when the two schools face each other).  I like to give him a hard time during football season and he returns the favor during basketball season.

I came across BDW this past summer when I needed help finding a rescue to take in a sweet old man bulldog (12 years old!!) who was being given up by his family and the wonderful people on this board all reached out to help.  Since then I've become attached to all the people and bullies here and love the community we've all come together to create.

Stephanie and David's picture

About us...

David and I live in South Minneapolis, Minnesota with Maybull, the 12-year old grumpy old bulldog. David owns Eight Gates Tai Chi where he teaches Tai Chi and other martial arts, mostly to private clients. I sell real estate and do freelance journalism. I grew up with bulldogs and have been bulldog crazy for 50+ years, but Maybull is David's first dog. He's bulldog crazy now, too.

We garden vegetables, cook, bike, walk and generally keep busy. David got his degree in design and I got mine in history and journalism. I'm involved in politics and was at the State Capitol last week to lobby against a bill that would allow a wolf hunting season in Minnesota and for one that would disallow companies taking shelter dogs to use in experiments.

That's all!

Ooooh Fun!

Mike (29) and I (32) live in Astoria, Queens and have been together over 4 1/2 years. We began "living in sin" ;-) this past September and our entire apartment hunt focused around the perfect apartment/neighborhood for our future bulldog. The minute the lease was signed was our opportunity to really start researching breeders and now Rugby is nearly five months old!

I am originally from beautiful Kennebunk, Maine ("The Way Life Should Be") and Mike is from Long Valley, New Jersey. We are both extremely family oriented with 18 combined nieces and nephews (the bulk on my side), 6 siblings and their spouses, our parents and his grandparents.

We are both in digital sales marketing, me being at NBCUniversal where I get to have fun exploring 30 Rock, seeing numerous celebrities and going to live tapings and Mike at Meebo, a very cool start up company based out of Mountain View, CA, but fortunately they have a large office in NYC. Funny fact is that Mike and I met at work 6 years ago... I hired him!

Our interests are all over the place. We are HUGE Rangers fans and proud season ticket holders (this should be fun Pegsy... we went to the winter classic which was pretty cool). Where it gets dicey is that I am a die hard Patriots fan and Mike is a Giants fan. We survived in 2007 and this past February (after I locked myself in our bedroom for 10 minutes so I could get a good cry in), but LOVE football so our Sundays are fun in the fall. Other fun interests include traveling (heading to the Dominican Republic in a week and it can't get here soon enough), exploring and eating our way through NYC, being with family, throwing fun parties at our place (Cinco de Drinco is next!), music, playing with Rugby in the huge park next to our building, gadgets, and of course BDW (while I am the main point person, Mike reads and listens to all the news). It really has been an amazing 3 months meeting all of you!

Oliver's mom and dad

I (Jerry) do most of the posting on here between my girlfriend Erica and I.  We met when I was in medical school and she was in dental school in Pittsburgh about 6 years ago.  I am now at Stanford University going through a surgery residency and even though she finished dental school, she figured out that wasn't what she wanted to do in life so is back in school getting a masters in dietetics.  We take a couple years off during the middle of training to do research so I'm now working in a lab which gives me a lot more flexibility with my schedule.  Erica's grown up with dogs and I only had one for a very short time when I was young so we both have wanted to get a dog but me being so busy in residency plus living in an apartment made us think we had to put it off.  She kept insisting though and we decided to look at breeds that were ok for apartment living.  She was set on a bulldog and I was totally against the idea.  I had read how loud and smelly they were and didn't see the charm in it.  Well, last January it was a unseasonably sunny and warm day so we decided to go on a bike ride.  We turned down a road we almost never go down and as we were climbing this hill, we heard what sounded like ducks or something over the top.  As we got to the top we saw two bulldogs walking down the road by themselves which we got a huge kick out of.  They didn't have tags or anything so we didnt really know what to do because we were just there with our bikes.  We gave them some water and luckily waved down a neighbor in his car and he took the dogs back to his house to find the owners.  After that, we couldn't get those two off our minds, just picturing them as two buddies escaping their house and going on a little adventure together.  I think about 3 or 4 days later I called my girlfriend and asked if we should do it and get a dog, she got mad at me because I've done this before and wasn't completely serious but I was definitely serious this time.  A couple weeks later we were on the road to go pick up our little guy Oliver!  We are so happy that all those things fell in place because he has been the best thing ever.  Pretty much everything now revolves around our little bug which I'm ok with.  Thanks for reading.

Loud and smelly and didn't see the charm in it!

That just totally cracked me up!!! Very true, but one of the more endearing qualities about them, don't you think!

Completely. I think it's weird when I see other dogs and I can't hear then snorting. Luckily Oliver isn't too bad in the smelly department but when he does let one rip it always makes me chuckle.

Okay, my turn!!

My name is Beth and Im married to John.  We have 2 beautiful Sons ages 12 & 16.  We live in Watertown, Mass and my husband works for a lumber company and I work for a food broker.  We got our first bulldog in 1994 right after we got married.  We have been hooked ever since!  Jake was our first "baby" and when he died suddenly at the age of 3 we were both devasted.  Well, then we started having children and knew we had to wait before we could get another bulldog.  So, last year I thought it was finally time to get a bulldog and we found the most beautiful, awesome, sweetest bulldog ever. Gracie is now 13 months and I can't imagine her not being in our lives.  She is a spoiled little diva!!!

I absolutely love BDW.  Im so glad that I found this site.  Everyone is so nice and helpful will all the bulldog issues.  I wish everyone lived near me so we could all have playdates!!

and here I am....

So a little bit about me, huh?  Well I have a bulldog named Kippah, whom I adore……….what more is there?  LOL

We have a household of 4 two leggers, and here’s the run down on that:

Me, 46, I have worked for 12 years at a staffing company called Express Employment.  We have over 600 offices world wide.  I have worked for two of them here in Washington State.  I grew up on the West side of WA, but moved to Yakima (Central WA, Produce Valley galore!) in 2004.  It is beautiful here, we get tons of sun, some snow, and just a little rain (unlike Western WA)  I love what I do, basically I hire and fire for multiple companies.  Some of these jobs are full time, and some temporary, everything from general labor to CFO’s.

Paul is 58, and is a drafter.  He works for an Electrical Engineering company.  Basically he does the drawing for all electrical in new builds and remodels—mostly commercial.  He has deadlines for  certain jobs and ends up working very long hours some times, In Dec alone he worked 170 reg hours and 156 over time hours! (I LOVED that paycheck!)

Joseph, my son, is 20.  He works at a manufacturing company that makes plastic packaging—like when you buy a toy and you have to get scissors to open that stupid clear plastic package…that irritating stuff, ya know?  He started there when he was 18, as a general labor dude (through my company)  they hired him on and he is now in the Quality Assurance team.  His company loves him because he says ‘yes, sir,’ and ‘no, ma’am”, he has manners, cares about the companies bottom line, and works very hard.  I love that boy to death.  He has a great personality, loves his family, and is funnier than hell.  He has not had a serious relationship yet…. He does not have time for ‘girl drama’ and say she is going to wait.  He is SO much like his mother

My daughter, Mikaela, is 15.  She looks a lot like me, but has a very different personality.  She is testing the waters right now…and I splash back she found out.  She is sweet as ever, super loving.  She is the kind that will help a mother out when they are juggling a toddler and groceries in the parking lot.  She likes to sing, she cooks a lot of dinners for me so I don’t have to when I get home.  She is going to be a nurse, and we are looking at getting her into the Community college starting next year (her Junior year) to get college credits while she is in high school.

I have an ex husband, who was the perfect ex for 10 years—and then he decided to be an irresponsible father—this has really taken a toll on my kids. My son wrote him off—he does not tolerate lying very well.  My daughter has been hurt over and over by him.   Luckily he has a wonderful family, and my kids do still go and see them, if their dad stops in then he just gets the blessing of their presence.  I mention this only because it does define who I am, and who my kids are.

My father died of lung cancer when Mikaela was just 2, and My mother died of cancer when I was 11.  I had an evil step mother (literally).  So basically I have no family left but my household.  Again, this does help define who I am as a person.  I am very active in my church, and I have my own special family there.  It is great when you can hand select your family some times.

THEN I have Kippah, she is our first bulldog.  I say first—because, well you know…..  We got her in August and I cannot wait to get home every night.  We plan our weekend outings around her nearly every weekend too.

I have two Bostons, Gabe is my baby boy, and he is Kippahs chew toy. And Meana is—well she got her name cuz she was “Meana than all the others’.  She is the old lady personality in the house---not I AM NOT..she took that job.

Joseph has his own dog, Oscar the grouch, he is a Shi Tzu, Schnauzer cross, and he never shuts up…it drives me nuts,  He growls and chatters when he is mad AND when he is happy.  He also does not know how to play, so when the other dogs play he sits on top of the recliner watching them, wagging his tail, and growling…he’s so confused.  Gabe gets pissed off and knocks him off the chair every now and then.

And that is us.  We like to take off on road trips a lot.  I do a lot of planning and cooking for big events.  Right now I am working on a Passover meal for 200+ in a few weeks.  I am also cooking for a group of 60 teens who are raising money for local kids, and 3rd world kids (World Vision)  At the end of the week they do a 30 hour famine weekend, where they raise money, fast for 30 hours, and do all kinds of team building events.  I do the cooking to kick of the weekend, and to break the 30 hour fast.  I typically do a theme dinner, so I am learning Somalia cuisine right now.  I used to have my own catering business when the kids were little.  I also sew some, and I love to read.  Right now I am reading…SEVEN different books—WHY do I do that????

And there I am

Fun idea!!I'm Teresa.  I have

Fun idea!!

I'm Teresa.  I have two children, Kelsey who is 18 and a freshman in college at Albion College - a private school here in MIchigan.  She's doing really well...always has been a good student....she was on the Dean's list for 1st semester and received 3.7s and 4.0s on here midterms for this semester.  She is currently on spring break hanging with my almost 80 year old grandma.  I sent her there as a reward for doing well in college.....truthfully - so I didn't have to have her home for spring break.  I love the kid, but she drove me crazy during her 6 week winter break.

My other child is Jacob, he is 12.5 and is a 6th grader.  He is a very smart kid, just not the greatest at motivating himself.  Lately our evenings are spent working on homework and studying.  He loves to play outside and can take anything apart and put it back together....just wish this drive transferred to his studies.

Both my kids are HUGE readers - me not so much - you can usually find them somewhere with a book/nook in their face.

I am 38 and divorced for about - geez how long has it been - 4 years?  Annette, I can relate - my ex is horrible.  The reason we're divorced is because of something he did to my daughter - like he went to jail - and somehow his whole family twisted everything and excommunicated me and the kids, when in fact we are the victims.  Whatever, the kids don't need to be around evil people like that.....money can buy things but it can't buy your way into heaven (or at least I hope).

I come from a long line of car dealers - my great grandpa started our family business back in the day.  I am the General Manager at our Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership.  I've been working here for almost 15 years.  It's crazy some days here - between my employees and the customers there is always some sort of crazy soap-opera event occurring.  It makes my job fun and entertaining and helps me get out of bed everyday to come here!

I'm kinda crafty - like to knit and quilt.  Honestly, running a business and keeping my home up and taking care of my son is pretty much enough to keep me busy most nights.  I do have 30 acres - which is mostly grasslands surrounded by woods - during the summer I like to drive my tractor and mow/brush hog paths in the property so we can drive our gator around.  Silly tidbit.

Now, the most important part - Vernon.  I love my Vernon....gosh do I ever.  He's 1.3 years old and he is just fabulous.  Sometimes he comes to work with me and hangs out at the dealership - he loves to visit with people and sleep under my desk.  Vern is my first bulldog - I've had all kinds of dogs over my lifetime - and bulldogs are my breed hands-down.

After getting Vern, I learned about the unfortunate side of the breed's popularity and felt compelled to join the local rescue group.  I currrently have my first foster, Angie, and she will be going to her adoptive parents in 1.5 weeks.  I'm gonna cry like a baby when she leaves, but am excited to see meet the next bulldog that I get to bring home for a while.

Well, there's my tome!

Teresa

Getting to know you

I'm Peggy, hubby is Mark, we've been married 32 years.  We have a son and a daughter.  Our son is the oldest he served in the Air Force and is out now and married with a little girl.  Our daughter is on her own and is a Hair Stylist like her Mom, we even work together :0

We live in Northern Delaware, and would love to retire to a Southern Delaware Beach.

We've had many dogs over the years, I personally love all dogs, but the dog that has a special hold on my heart is the bulldog.  We got Josie 9 years ago and that's when I discovered BDW.  The site was a huge help to a new bully owner.  But is was weird, there were negative grumpy people here back then and lots of drama so I didn't come that often.

This is such a supportive group we have here now.  I check in every day now sometimes I post and sometimes I'm pretty quiet. I have come to care very much for the people and dogs on this site and also on the Porch.

I now have Stoney he will be 3 on March 22nd.  He is such a great pup he is always in the same room with me and when I make a move he looks at me expecting me to do something with him.  He absolutely loves to train for rally and obedience.  I'm always trying to come up with new games to play with him.  He is a quick study so I have to work hard to keep him on his toes.

I like to spend time with my hubby traveling, and visiting the grandbaby.  I like to read, garden, yoga, walk the dog, cook, and travel did I say travel?  We will be visiting the Galapagos Islands and Machu Picchu soon and I am beyond excited.

It's been great getting to know you all!

ArchimedesMommy's picture

well, this is fun getting to know the HUMANS better :-)

Hi,,,,,,,my name isn't REALLY Archimedes Mommy.....hee hee..... I'm Victoria, but you're welcome to call me Torey.....people call me both......It all started several years ago....I wanted a dog !!!   I got some books to learn about them, I was worried about training them correctly and doing everything right.  Seemed like out of nowhere, hubby started liking bulldogs....we talked about it for about FOUR YEARS before we finally got one!

Ooops, I'm supposed to be talking about US......hee hee......okay, my hubbs is a sweet teddy bear and we've been married 15 years.  We used to live in San Antonio, but had to move because of his career.....which brought us to the weather--horror city known as Oklahoma City!!!    It's cool though, we love that we can jump in the car and visit our families in 7 hours.....and thank GOODNESS, Meaty and Sophie are the BEST road-trippers!!!  We weren't able to have children, so we spoil our nieces and nephews, plus my friend's children!  annnnnnd, I don't think I need to mention the two other

sweet babies who are our "CHILDREN"....you've all seen the outfits....LOL!  :-)  My family teases me a lot about how Meaty and Sophie are sooo spolied, and my brother's favorite question "...how much do you drop at PetSmart every month?".....hee hee!

....

...

Hubby  Tony is an engineer, I was an LPN for years and for some insane reason, I went back to school to get my RN 5 years ago.

I LOVE taking care of patients, but I am TIRED !!!   Not just physically, but I am so TIRED of doctors....doctors can be so mean!

I took care of tiny, sick premature babies for 6 years, and those were my best nursing years....!!!   Now I work with adults and

my heart is extremely soft for the elderly and the dying.....sometimes I am assigned to a particular patient and I wanna "adopt"

them as my grandparent and, as I tell my coworkers "I wanna put 'em in my pocket and take 'em home with me!"  .. It's so

funny, in my job, lots of patients make me sooo sad, but I also have an easy sense of humor and love to make my

coworkers laugh... A LOT!  :-)  It's such a blessing to be able to laugh sometimes, or we'd all go cray-cray with sadness...

...

....Hubby loves astronomy and has a cool telescope, and he loves World War II movies.....I LOVE seeing his "Daddy" instincts

with Meaty and Sophie...it is SO sweet.   I love allll kinds of music, and LOVE to sing, been singing since I was little, and have sung at

a few weddings......always wanted to do it more, but I'd get soooo nervous!!!  And ...I LOVE to scrapbook!!!  And yes,

Meaty has his own scrapbook, and I need to start Sophie's!   Tony and I also LOVE to dance......I miss the good ole days

when we danced a LOT more.....fun times!! .We  also LOVE to take the babies to three different parks...and I

am already DREADING summer, when we can't take them to the parks, no more walks in our neighborhood.....ugh....don't

get me started!!!! :-(...  Oh well, our "default" outing for them in the hot months is PetSmart, and it is fun....it's

that ONE place you can take them where it isn't a gazillion degrees.  We really get a kick out of all the people at

PetSmart who ooooh and ahhhh over them, pet, play, take their picture, etc......

....

....

This site has been just wonder-bull......I never, EVER  dreamed I could love "a pet" sooo  much, and it is soooo cool to have

a place where people GET IT .....oh, and I could look at the piks allll day long!!!   HUGS to all of you !!!!!!!!

Looking forward to reading more about everybully!!  :-)

Hi, I am Julie. I live in the Kansas City area.

I am single, never married and no kids.  I work as an accountant for a real estate company.  I have a American Saddlebred horse that I used to show (he is now retired so for the last several years I have been studying natural horsemanship techniques with him), a cat that is 20 yrs old and 2 bulldogs.   Over 16 years ago I took home my first bulldog "Leroy".  He was an awesome boy.  I knew right then that I would always have a bulldog.  When Leroy died of Lymphnoma at the age of 12 I was devastated.  My family saw how heartbroken I was so within a month of losing my beloved boy they surprised me with Buford for my birthday.  Best present ever......  Buford is now 4.  Two years ago I rescued Miss Bernie who we think is about 6-7 yrs old. She was a breeder dog so it has been an interesting journey for her to learn what being a dog is like. They are the highlights of my life.  In my spare time I volunteer at a local shelter working on socializing and training the dogs as well as participating in their community education program to educate kids about caring for animals.  I also help with Bulldog rescue and have fostered.  Recently I have had the opportunity to join a group of Positive Reinforcement trainers in our area so I am reading, studying and soaking up as much knowledge as I can.  My goal is one day to be a CPDT-KA but right now I just want to learn how to better myself and the animals I work with.

My turn

I live in Montreal, Canada with  my DH of over 20 years.  I'm a business writer for a small public relations firm, writing "corporate stuff" (speeches, magazine articles, press releases, HR material, etc.) for large corporations.  I have a Master's in Medieval English Literature from McGill University. My dad is an English speaker but my mom was French Canadian (she passed away in 2002 of cancer). As a result, we spoke mostly French in the home. I love to read, mainly thrillers/murder mysteries.  My love for "foul murder" extends to a passion for British (mainly) police dramas - although I also love a good historical series (Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth, anyone?!)  I have a small cottage on a lake in Ontario in the Ottawa area, which is also the region where I grew up.  I also love to travel and have even visited a few members of BDW...  :)

My love for bulldogs began during a trip to Nova Scotia, when we encountered a huge white boy called Crunch.  I crouched down to pet him, he sat down next to me - sideways as they are want to do - knocked me to the ground because I wasn't expecting the "big lean-in".  His owner was mortified, I was smitten!  A few years later, we acquired Robbie, who was a 6-month old who had been returned to the breeder following a divorce.  He was a wonderful boy, who we only go to enjoy for one month because he passed away during neutering.  Amidst the trauma of that experience, my family got together and bought me Stella - the little white girl I had always wanted!!  We spend a wonderful, loving, challenging 11 years 10 months 11 days together before I had to let her go.  No non-four legged kids.

I've been a member of this board for about 10 years.

Love me some Colin Firth and

Love me some Colin Firth and BBC (Masterpice or BBCAmerica)

Hi Everyone, this is great

Okay, my name is Ashley and my Hubby is Mike, we have been together for 7 years.  We live in Langley, British Columbia which is just 30 minutes from Vancouver, the burbs...

I work for the Fire Department, I look after all of their radios and Computers along with another co worker, it's a great place to work like another extended family, we have about 400 firefighters so they keep me hopping.

My hubby owns his own Civil Engineering firm and this place is growing all the time so it keeps him really busy.

I use to own 2 great pyrenesse, I always wanted a Bulldog but liked the big dogs, I grew up with Great Danes.

We got Baron and Duchess 2 years ago, Mike wasn't keen on getting 2 dogs, he never had a dog growing up, but gave in, well they now go to work with him everyday and I pick them up and take them home at night.  They love their daddy and he is a big suck with them, it's great to see.  He is always thanking me for bringing these special dogs into his life, they are so loving.

I like to run, I'm doing another half marathon in June and golfing.

That's about it.

Thanks

Amy Matt Jasmine and Porkchop's picture

About us! (pic of pups included at no additional charge!!)

My name is Amy. My husband's name is Matt and we will be married for 17 years in May. We are both 38 years old and are "owned" by 2 bulldogs named Jasmine and Porkchop. We live just outside St. Louis, MO.

Matt surprised me with our first bully for our anniversary.(Isn't he the best?!?!) We went to the breeders together and I chose Jasmine. She is the first dog I have ever had and I love her so much more then I ever thought was possible. My baby girl will be 6 on April 11th.....where did the time go!?!

Matt also was pretty instrumental in us getting Porky. He was in the front yard with Jazzy when someone came up to him and asked him if he ever thought of getting another bully. Matt said yes and was then told by the man that he had a bulldog that he could not keep anymore due to family allergies. We went to meet Porky and fell in love so he came to stay with us....we have not regretted that decision. He just turned four on Jan 7th.

I know life would be so different without my wonderful family. I love my husband and my babies so very much!

I am also so very greatful for the friends I have made along the way on this forum....we have gone through some great times, some rough times and I know I would not have made it this far without all of you!
