Ok cooked food question - I have read that the rice & boiled
Submitted by KarenandRocco on September 30, 2011 - 7:10pmburger is a cleansing diet? Why can't you feed it to them all the time? I put a little green beans in it. Originally my vet suggested it to see if Rocco had the food allergy. He also gets a vitamin from NuVet that has everything you could think of in it.

you only need to add in
some organs like liver and heart....a little calicium egg shells crushed....and some bone or bone meal..to make a complete diet...just burger and rice is not a complete healthy diet
is that it? I can still feed him that stuff then? I think it's
cheaper than buying that expensive dog food with no grain.
yep its not that hard....
you dont have to be fancy....just increase your meat so its more 80% of his diet then everything else is 10%.....stay with brown rice if you want a grain....but boil...or like my self i have a hugh chinese wok....and i do alot of stir fry with my guys...especially my 9 yo....
but making your own diet is not difficult nor expensive..... you can use turkey (not enchanced) for a protein....lamb....pork is great....
have fun with this...enjoy feding your dog..rathering than dumping some thing pre made into a bowl...no fun.....
when i get home its supper time...for everyone...we eat as a family....

from there has lead or arsenic in it, atleast I know whats "in" my dogs food! Did anyone see Dr. Oz regarding apple juice! Don't give your kids the little boxes - motts, juicy juice, gerber & minute maid all have arsenic in it!!!!!
