Oh - Rocco's is losing his "manhood" thurs. It's been so long

that I have fixed a male - do they have stitches? All my dogs have been unwanted  and drop offs, most were neutered already.

They do have stitches but

They do have stitches but they are usually dissolvable so you dont have to worry about taking them back to the vet to have them removed. Most of my dogs are and have been male and have never had any problems with them recovering from the surgery. Usually the biggest problem is keeping them from being too rowdy and keeping them from licking themselves afterwards. (course I dont know how much licking is an issue with a bulldog, my boys are German Shepherds and I'm pretty sure my bully girl cant reach to lick herself lol!)

Depends on what the vet uses...

some vets use dissolvable stitches, others use regular.  In any case, I doubt Rocco can reach "there"!
