I notice he has pretty dark tear stains. I had an all white bully and she had terrible tear stains for months when I first got her. I didn't want to bleach them or use a chemical in case it hurt her eyes (and after all, it is just an aesthetics thing).
Someone on here suggested I give her filtered water to drink. So I bought a Brita water jug and BAM, within about a couple months... zero tear stains! And I got to enjoy the filtered water too :) I figure there must have been some minerals in our tap water that were causing the red stains.
We eventually bought a water cooler and gave her distilled water, which we drank too.
You may not care, in which case ignore my message. Just thought I'd pass on one of our "old wives" tips :)
I could use one anyway for myself like you said. But in this case it's actually not normal for him it's from all the surgery and drops and today's eye dye check thing and yada yada.. He needs to be cleaned up still but I only have been barely gently wiping him a little because he is still a bit swollen. Just don't want to hurt him. I think tomorrow or the next day I may be good to really clean him up. Under his chin is actually stained up too from something they used I guess.. But he does get them just not very bad but I may as well get one what can it hurt..
I do a little. Just don't want to be to hard. (which he needs to get it off) yea I think I may get a brita or something. Maybe that will help with allergies too maybe. Can't hurt I guess.
And now..

He's catching up on all the time he missed cuddling:-)
Silly boy. Glad he is doing better though!

Sure is
Felt bad having to push him away for so long but smacking me in the face with the cone over and over wasn't really working out lol

Good call
I wouldn't touch his eye area right now either.
The great thing about the water change is that it's completely non-invasive - and good for him too!
You're a good dad!
