Newman's surgery is over and he did great...

We took him right into a room and they let us stay while they gave him the sedative and when he was sleepy, they took him back. My wonderful vet took a picture of his palate before he started on the lump and it's really not too bad for a bully, so we are going to let that go unless he starts having problems. He should be ready to come home in 2 hours, glad that's over. Now we just need Chester back home.

I would love to visit him but I'm afraid he might get worked up again, they said he's just calmly walking around the hospital and making friends with everyone.

I'm glad that he's up and around and seeming to do well at the other hospital. I guess it's probably best that he wasn't at the same place where Newman was (it'd be hard to be in the SAME PLACE) and not see him...which you're right, it'd probably get him worked up.
