Oh my gosh
What a little angel. He's just gorgeous and so full of life! Thanks for sharing him with us.
P.S. You've got it baaaaad! Welcome to the club :)
By the way
You'll want to watch him with those rawhides. My first boy undid the knot and was swallowing the whole thing down. If I hadn't been right there, he'd have choked to death. After that, NEVER any rawhide for him.
You can still give it, but make sure he's being monitored at all times. They do dumb things sometimes :)
Thanks so much for the advice
Thanks so much for the advice & the communal bulldog love! I know!!!! I have it reeeeaaaal bad! He's just so precious! I don't think I would have the ability to love a human baby more!! I wake up with him snuggling by my side & can't wait to get home to him after work! He (and my husband haha) are my world!
Same thing happened with a bulldog I had.
This was when i was just a kid, but the bulldog untied the knows in about 15 minutes, turned the whole chew to slime and then tried to swallow it whole. If my dad hadn't been there to clear his airway and give him mouth to mouth, he'd have died. Nylabones are a good substitute as are big knucke bones (uncooked) or even the real bones you can get at the pet store. (Those are messy, though).
Other toys are OK, too but keep your eye on them while they play with them. Many bulldogs are vigorous chewers and they have powerful jaws (800 to 125 lb pressure per sq inch).
Another note
He's still very young, so rawhides are not so dangerous. When he's grown, though, avoid them.
oh my goodness...yup i would
oh my goodness...yup i would be inlove also!lol

smoochies the scrunchy face
I see some cute stink eye.....
he's adorable! I'm curious, how did you come up with his name?

Awww thanks guys! :) I know
Awww thanks guys! :) I know it's a little unusual and pretty ironic! An english bulldog with a scottish name! I can't remember the exact moment we decided on his name because we've just known for the last 4 years that when we get a dog, he would be an english bulldog and his name would be Hamish! I'm trying to convince my husband he needs a brother, and he'd be called Hemmingway! <3
And yip, he has a mean stink eye! Just look at him having a sulk because I didn't feel like playing at 5 in the morning!
He is so gorgeous! I adore his name too.
Have you read the Hamish Macbeth novels? I haven't read the novels yet, but the BBC Scotland series HAMISH MACBETH is one of my all-time favorites.
The name Hamish suits such a special, beautiful baby boy.
Congratulations!!!!!
mine was named

he really is adorable-stink eye and all, lol!
He's beautiful.
I've know people who laughed at my bulldog obsession until they got one. Now, they're just like me.
