Minneapolis/St. Paul Bulldog Picnic is this Sunday
Submitted by Stephanie and David on May 18, 2012 - 4:17pmBulldog Picnic is next Sunday, May 20th, in Memorial Park in Shakopee at the shelter. There will be signs you can follow, or listen for the snorting.
It's a potluck and begins at 12:00 noon. The potluck tends to be simple picnic food. Soft drinks are usually provided. There's no alcohol. There are bulldog games (bulldog agility, 'dress your bulldog', etc.) Bring your camera!
If you can bring something for the silent auction, that would be nice, but donations are appreciated, all going to bulldog rescue. So you can buy a bulldog thing at the silent auction, if you 'd like.
How many bulldogs that show up depends on the weather. There's a chance of rain this year. Last year there was a bit of rain, but we went anyway and had a blast.

Go figure
One that is semi close to me (stil quite a few hours to drive, but would have done it) and I have to work. Does anyone know if there are any other gatherings around Wi? If not any suggestions on where I can look to find gatherings.
The same group...
The same group that puts this on has monthly events, but their biggest events are the Picnic and a Halloween Costume Party.
The Chicago bulldog club is very active. You might want to check there.
