Male vs Female bonding

I have a 19 yr old son, and a 15 yr old daughter. My son and I have a super strong bond, and My daughter is more of a daddy's girl. I find this very common in people I know.
My Male Boston terrier is bonded to me more so than anyone else, and Kippah bonds a little better to daddy and my son than myself or my daughter.....my female Boston is so darn lazy she will sit/sleep with anyone who will let her under a blanket!
Anyone else have the same experiences?

Gizmo - my 1st Bully - is 100% Daddy's Girl -
Dottie always insists on female dogs, I think she is afraid of the male dogs 'marking' in the house - but they always bond to me :)
Last steps taken May 26, 2014 -- Been rolling along ever since . . . .

If given a choice...
Winston will go to the dude 99% of the time. I think it's because the dude plays more (and rougher) than I do. But if he wants snuggles he comes straight to me. :)

Fatboy definitely loves the ladies. And dad says he's a mama's
boy for sure. I don't know what it is but he's cautious of the males at first. My uncle for example; Fatboy is really cautious of him, will begin to bark at him (as in "I don't like you" bark), then initiate playtime by chasing and running away from him. But my sister gets a lot of attention immediately from Fatboy. It takes no time at all for him to be running up to her to wiggle his booty and give kissies.
I think it's because I baby him a lot. I've been with him everyday since day one; to him this is just how life is.
