This is on my mind ever since the hubbs put a VERY movie-theater sounding device on our TV the other day.
He's only playing it loudly once in a while when he watches an adventure-ee/ manly movie. I am in the
study with the doors tightly shut (LOL) and it still sounds incredibly like a movie theater. My concern is
for Meaty and Sophie, who are out there "watching" the movie with him. He loves them dearrrrrly, so there's
no way he'd want them to have any ill affects. He believes they're fine with the loud sound.....I'm just not
sure! ..

Okay, so common knowledge/sense tells us since doggies have extreeeemely sensitive hearing, it would
hurt them to hear loud music/ tvs---right? I've been doing some googling, and one site said if it REALLY
bothered them, they'd probably run to another room to get away from it. But then I question that, because
aren't bullies known for NOT showing us when they're hurting? Ugh, so confused!
What do y'all think?
Our sweet Archimedes "MEATY" Bones (or as we say...boneSHHH!) ---born 11/28/08---- our first bullllyyyy!!!
And SOPHIE Bubbles *Rapscallion* (LOL!) ---born 4/3/11----our second bulllllyyyy!!!!
I should add....when it thunders, they run to their crates---soo
soooo, if this "movie theater" sound was bothering/ scaring / hurting them, wouldn't they run to their crates (which is
in another room, away from the LOUD TV!) like
they do when it thunders???

I don't think I'd worry
If the sound isn't so loud to damage hubby's hearing, it should be fine for them too. And I agree that if they didn't like it, they'd go somewhere else.
Yes I think they would let you know if it was
too much for them!
